Advertiser Agreement
Version 2026-10-13 ยท Last updated October 13, 2026
This agreement is between The Closer Group, which operates attorneypick.com under the trade name AttorneyPick ("AttorneyPick"), and the attorney or law firm that signs it during onboarding ("Advertiser"). AttorneyPick is an advertising and lead-generation service. It is not a law firm and not a lawyer referral service.
1. What AttorneyPick does
AttorneyPick publishes the Advertiser's listing on attorneypick.com and delivers leads: people who choose to ask the Advertiser to contact them. Which listings a person sees is decided automatically by objective criteria the person can see and change (state, practice area, distance, languages, consultation type and any filter they pick). No AttorneyPick employee chooses, ranks or recommends a lawyer for anyone, and AttorneyPick staff never evaluate anyone's legal problem. Every lawyer who pays to advertise, is licensed in the person's state and handles the practice area is shown; AttorneyPick does not limit the number of participating lawyers in a market. The default order is distance from the person's city. Nobody can pay to appear higher.
2. Fees: always flat
The Advertiser pays AttorneyPick only flat advertising fees, under the plan it chooses and that its state allows:
- Founders, flat monthly (first 3 firms per city and practice area): $0 a month for the first 90 days, then $199 a month for the rest of a 12-month term. No per-lead fee.
- Founders, pay per lead (first 3 firms per city and practice area): $0 a month plus the Founders flat fee for each lead, which is half of the full per-lead fee below.
- Partner: $499 a month. No per-lead fee.
- Pay per lead: $0 a month plus the full flat fee for each lead, starting with a $300 prepaid credit.
Full flat fee per lead, by practice area: personal injury $250; DUI and criminal defense $150; employment $150; family law $100; immigration $90; landlord and tenant $60. A lead is one person who submits a request asking the Advertiser to contact them. In states where per-lead pricing is not allowed (currently New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Michigan), only the monthly plans are offered.
Never a share of legal fees. Every fee is the same whether or not the person hires the Advertiser. No fee is a percentage of, depends on, or is scaled to any legal fee, the value of a matter, or its outcome. AttorneyPick will never receive any part of the Advertiser's legal fees. Fees differ by practice area only because AttorneyPick's advertising costs differ by practice area.
Credits. AttorneyPick credits the lead fee for duplicate requests, false contact details, and requests outside the Advertiser's state or practice area, if reported within 7 days. No credit depends on whether the person hires the Advertiser.
Add-ons (optional, flat): an additional bona fide office location $249 a month; AI after-hours receptionist $199 a month; profile and intro video setup $299 once. Annual payment of a monthly plan gets 2 months free.
Billing. Monthly plans bill in advance and lead fees bill monthly in arrears, to the card on file through Stripe. Unpaid accounts are paused after 7 days.
3. How listings and leads work
- Every listing is labeled as a sponsored listing and shows the Advertiser's bona fide office city and county, its fees as the Advertiser states them, and the AttorneyPick advertising notice.
- No case details reach the Advertiser until the person submits a request, and the Advertiser will not call, text, chat with or otherwise make live contact with a person through or because of AttorneyPick until that person has asked the Advertiser to call.
- Where AttorneyPick operates in Texas, each request goes to every lawyer who advertises for that practice area in Texas, not to one lawyer, and the Advertiser will label its first communication with the person as advertising.
- AttorneyPick may show measured response time and reviews from people who used AttorneyPick as optional sorts. They are facts, not endorsements.
4. The Advertiser's responsibilities
- The Advertiser and each listed attorney are licensed and in good standing in each state listed and carry current professional liability (malpractice) insurance, and will tell AttorneyPick within 5 days of any suspension, discipline, lapse in coverage or other change.
- AttorneyPick checks bar status against public state bar records when the Advertiser joins and monthly. AttorneyPick may suspend or remove a listing immediately if a bar status is not active or cannot be confirmed.
- The Advertiser is responsible for its own compliance with the lawyer advertising and solicitation rules of every state where it advertises, including any filing it must make (for example Nevada RPC 7.2A, Texas Rule 7.04, and the Florida Rule 4-7.22 participation report).
- The Advertiser is responsible for its own compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state telemarketing and texting laws in every call or text it makes, contacts a person only about the request they sent, and honors every opt-out (including a STOP reply) right away.
- The Advertiser keeps full professional independence. It decides alone whether to accept any person as a client, what to charge, and how to handle any matter. AttorneyPick does not direct or regulate the Advertiser's professional judgment.
- The Advertiser approves its listing and keeps it truthful, including its stated fees and how case costs are handled.
- The Advertiser keeps information it receives confidential and uses it only to respond to the person who sent it.
- Reviews are collected only from people who used AttorneyPick. The Advertiser will not offer anything for reviews or submit reviews for anyone.
5. Founders Client Fee Pledge (optional)
Separately from what the Advertiser pays AttorneyPick, a Founders Advertiser may choose to make a Client Fee Pledge: its own statement that it offers people who contact it through AttorneyPick a reduced rate, for example a 20% contingency fee on qualifying contingency matters instead of its usual rate, or a stated discount on its hourly or flat fees. The pledge is the Advertiser's own fee decision. AttorneyPick does not set, require, review or control any lawyer's fees, does not receive any part of them, and charges the Advertiser the same whether or not it makes a pledge.
- The pledge is recorded per practice area, in the Advertiser's words, and shown on its listing as "Founders rate: [the pledged rate] on qualifying cases" together with "Fees set by the lawyer; confirm in your written fee agreement."
- A contingency pledge applies only where contingency fees are allowed and never to criminal or divorce matters.
- The Advertiser may decline any matter and keeps full professional independence; its written fee agreement with each client controls.
- Neither party will describe any pledge as the "lowest" or "cheapest" fee.
- The Advertiser may change or withdraw its pledge for future matters at any time by updating its listing.
6. Term and cancellation
Founders plans have a 12-month term. Other plans renew monthly (or annually if chosen) until cancelled. Either party can cancel with 30 days' written notice to hello@attorneypick.com. AttorneyPick may remove a listing immediately for a licensing issue, nonpayment, misleading content or a breach of this agreement.
7. Liability
Each party is responsible for its own conduct. AttorneyPick's total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 3 months before a claim. The Advertiser will indemnify AttorneyPick for claims arising from its legal services or listing content. AttorneyPick does not guarantee any number of views, leads or clients.
8. General
Nevada law governs this agreement. Signing electronically during onboarding, with the typed name, the agreement version, the date and time, and the IP address recorded, is a valid signature. AttorneyPick may update these terms with 30 days' notice by email; the version the Advertiser signed governs until then.
